Cost of Living
Universal Headstart for children from birth to five years old, providing families with free childhood education, health and nutrition support, mental health services, and assistance with housing and emergency resources.
Cultivate a network of alternative healthcare providers to reduce healthcare costs for prescriptions, exams, and preventative care.
Provide grants for community-led food cooperatives to address food insecurity.
Safety & Justice
Restore and empower unionized City workforce (social workers, youth coordinators, parks staff, etc.) as a crime prevention strategy.
Implement collaborative, accountable, and responsible spending of the safety budget and contracts.
Provide comprehensive mental health support for first responders and Jail staff.
Create a Department of Community Safety to implement restorative justice initiatives, amplify community driven solutions, and measure outcomes across public safety departments.
